then we drove down to fossil creek. it started raining a little bit on the way down the mountain but we just hoped for the best. when we got there john and i jumped right in.
it took a little bit but i finally convinced mel and kate to come down to the creek because the rain stopped and the skies cleared up.
on the way back to the campsite we stopped on the mountain to take a couple pictures.
we got back to camp and started a fire to cook veggie hot dogs and s'mores.
after we ate we cuddled up in the tent and kate told some scary stories. woke up today and headed back towards dirty dirty tempe. i want to be back in the mountains already.
